When Back Pain in Mesa Needs a Chiropractor

Back pain that lingers past a few days usually means something deeper is going on. We see it a lot in Central Mesa. Older homes push folks into awkward lifting during roof or AC repairs before summer hits. Golf and pickleball players from the snowbird communities often show up with the same lower back strain. If pain shoots down your leg, wakes you at night, or gets worse after sitting, don't wait it out. Chiropractic care is one of the fastest growing fields in the country[1]. Demand keeps rising as more people look for drug-free options. The longer a spine stays out of alignment, the harder it is to correct.

Common Causes

Lower Back Strain from Yard or Home Work

Older Central Mesa homes mean more DIY repairs. Lifting AC units or roofing gear wrong is a top cause of strain we treat.

Sciatica and Nerve Pain

Pain that runs down the leg often starts in the lower spine. We treat the root cause, not just the symptom.

Golf and Pickleball Injuries

Mesa's retirement communities keep active players on the course and courts. Repeated twisting strains the lower back fast.

Auto Accident Back Pain

US-60 and Loop 202 see heavy traffic. We treat back injuries from collisions with a documented, personalized plan.

Herniated or Bulging Discs

Sharp pain with numbness or tingling can point to a disc problem. We use spinal decompression to relieve pressure.

Chronic Stiffness and Arthritis

Dry desert air adds to stiffness in patients over 60. Regular adjustments keep joints moving and pain manageable.

Simple Steps

How Back Pain Treatment Works Here

Getting started is easier than most people expect.

1

Exam and X-rays

We start with a thorough exam and digital X-rays. This shows us exactly what's happening in your spine.

2

Personalized Plan

Dr. Sazama or Dr. Liebl reviews your results and builds a plan just for you. It may include adjustments, decompression, or shockwave therapy.

3

Ongoing Adjustments

We track your progress and adjust the plan as you improve. The goal is lasting relief, not repeat visits forever.

Fair Pricing

Back Pain Treatment Cost in Mesa

Cost depends on what's causing your pain and how long it's been going on. A simple strain costs less to treat than a herniated disc needing decompression sessions. Many of our snowbird patients ask about Medicare. It covers spinal manipulation but not full wellness care. We walk you through options up front. We give you a clear price before we start any treatment. There are no surprise charges added later.

✓ Upfront pricing before treatment begins.
✓ No treatment added without your approval.
✓ Insurance and Medicare questions answered clearly.
Typical price range
$75 - $2,500+
A single adjustment costs less than a full decompression program.
Auto accident cases often involve insurance or attorney coordination.
Chronic or long-standing pain may need more visits over time.
Adding shockwave therapy or nutritional counseling changes the total cost.

Dr. Rob and Dr. Eric are the best Chiropractors I have ever seen. The staff are great, they are transparent, affordable, offer payment plans, and have supplemental roller benches, tens unit therapy and more. You won’t be disappointed!

I came here using a Groupon for shockwave treatment for my Achilles tendonitis and have found my new place to get my chiropractic done as well. Dr. Robert has been great in helping me formulate a plan to get my body back to where it needs to be and I got my first adjustment today from Dr. Eric. They are very reasonable with their prices and give discounts for prepayment of treatments which is very helpful in this tight economy. I've been telling my managers and co-workers with ailments about this place and to get their butts in there. For myself, so far after two sessions my tendonitis is improving and the adjustment definitely helped today.

Common Questions

Back Pain Treatment Questions

Here are answers to what Mesa patients ask us most.

  • How much does back pain treatment cost?

It depends on your injury and how many visits you need. A simple strain costs far less than ongoing decompression care. We give you a price after your first exam, so there are no surprises.

  • How long does it take to feel relief?

Some patients feel better after one or two visits. Others with disc issues need several weeks of care. We track your progress closely and adjust the plan as needed.

  • Should I try to fix back pain myself first?

Rest and ice help mild strain, but persistent pain needs a real exam. Guessing at the cause often makes things worse. We've seen patients wait months and turn a simple strain into a bigger problem.

  • How often should I get adjusted for back pain?

It depends on severity. Acute pain often needs weekly visits at first, tapering as you improve. Chronic cases, especially in patients over 60, sometimes benefit from ongoing maintenance care.

  • When is back pain an emergency?

Numbness, loss of bladder control, or pain after a serious fall need urgent care right away. Most back pain isn't an emergency, but it shouldn't be ignored for weeks either. Call us and we'll tell you if you need to be seen right away.

  • What are signs my back pain is serious?

Pain that spreads down your leg, worsens at night, or comes with numbness are all warning signs. So is pain that doesn't improve after a week of rest. These usually point to a disc or nerve issue we can evaluate.

  • Do you treat back pain from car accidents?

Yes, we treat auto accident back injuries often given Mesa's busy corridors like US-60 and Loop 202. We document your injury properly for insurance or attorney needs. Many patients don't realize pain until days after the crash, so get checked even if you feel fine.
