Warning Signs

When Fibromyalgia Pain Needs a Real Plan

Fibromyalgia won't show up on an X-ray. But it shows up in your life. You might wake up sore, even after sleeping all night. Or you feel sore spots on your neck, shoulders, and hips. They just won't calm down. Mesa's dry air can make sore muscles feel worse. This is true for patients over 60. We've seen patients wait years for answers. They bounce between doctors who treat one symptom at a time. That's not the right way. Fibromyalgia often mixes with other pain problems. You might have arthritis or old injuries too. A plan that just hides pain won't work. If you don't treat it, pain and tiredness tend to spread. Waiting rarely makes things better.

Common Patterns

Widespread Muscle Pain

Aching that spreads across your neck, back, and arms with no clear cause. This is often the first thing we see in new patients.

Constant Tiredness

Feeling worn out no matter how much you rest. Fibromyalgia tiredness doesn't go away with sleep alone.

Sore Trigger Points

Certain spots that hurt with light touch. We check these closely during your exam.

Brain Fog

Trouble focusing or remembering small things. Many patients don't know this links to fibromyalgia.

Sleep Trouble

Pain that breaks up deep sleep, leaving you tired the next day. This cycle can make everything feel worse.

Stiffness After Rest

Waking up stiff even after a full night of sleep. We ask every patient about this sign.

1

Exam and History

We start by talking about your symptoms, past care, and daily struggles. Digital X-rays help us rule out other causes of pain.

2

Your Own Plan

Dr. Sazama or Dr. Liebl builds a plan just for you. This may include gentle adjustments, ultrasound, or food tips.

3

Ongoing Check-Ins

We watch your progress and change the plan as your body responds. Fibromyalgia care isn't a one-time fix. It's a long-term team effort.

Dr. Rob and Dr. Eric are the best Chiropractors I have ever seen. The staff are great, they are transparent, affordable, offer payment plans, and have supplemental roller benches, tens unit therapy and more. You won’t be disappointed!

I came here using a Groupon for shockwave treatment for my Achilles tendonitis and have found my new place to get my chiropractic done as well. Dr. Robert has been great in helping me formulate a plan to get my body back to where it needs to be and I got my first adjustment today from Dr. Eric. They are very reasonable with their prices and give discounts for prepayment of treatments which is very helpful in this tight economy. I've been telling my managers and co-workers with ailments about this place and to get their butts in there. For myself, so far after two sessions my tendonitis is improving and the adjustment definitely helped today.

Common Questions

Fibromyalgia Treatment Questions

Here are answers to the questions Mesa patients ask us most.

  • How much does fibromyalgia care cost?

Cost depends on how often you need care and what's included. Most plans run $75 to $500 or more each month. We give you a clear price after your first exam. Medicare may pay for part of your spine visits.

  • How long until I feel better?

Many patients feel some relief in a few weeks. Full results often take a few months to show. Fibromyalgia builds up slowly over time. Everyone heals at their own speed, so we watch your progress closely. Patience matters most.

  • Can I just handle this myself?

Some things help on your own, like gentle stretching and good sleep. But fibromyalgia usually needs real expert help to get better. Without a plan, it tends to stay the same or get worse. We help you build habits that truly work.

  • How is this different from a regular doctor?

Many doctors use medicine to treat fibromyalgia. We look for the real cause, like spine alignment and tight muscles. Our care mixes chiropractic work, food advice, and tools like ultrasound. It's a hands-on, whole-body way to heal.

  • How fast should I start care?

Fibromyalgia rarely gets better on its own. The longer you wait, the more it can spread into tiredness and brain fog. Starting sooner often means an easier path to relief. We say don't wait for it to get worse.

  • What early signs should I watch for?

Watch for pain all over, constant tiredness, and stiffness after rest. Sore spots on your neck or shoulders are common too. Brain fog and bad sleep often come with the pain. If this sounds like you, get checked soon.

  • Do you have drug-free pain relief?

Yes, our whole plan is drug-free care that fixes the cause. We use spine adjustments, ultrasound, and food advice instead of pills. Some patients also do well with shockwave therapy for deep muscle pain. Our goal is lasting relief, not just hiding the pain.
