About this area

Golf Injuries Are Part of Life Near Royal Palms

Royal Palms Golf Course draws a steady stream of retirees and weekend players from nearby 55+ communities. Many golfers here play year round, which means overuse injuries in the elbow, shoulder, and lower back show up often. We've treated plenty of patients who tried to play through pain for months before calling us. Shockwave therapy works well for this because it targets the exact tissue causing trouble, without surgery or long downtime. We also see patients from Lehi Community Center events. Folks visiting the Mesa Historical Museum area stop in for care too.

Recent Cases Near Royal Palms Golf Course

Golf injuries in this part of Mesa follow a pattern. Repetitive swings and long days on the course wear down the same joints over and over. Here's what we treat most often near Royal Palms.

Golfer's elbow flare-ups

We treat this constantly with patients from Royal Palms Golf Course. Shockwave therapy breaks up scar tissue that builds from repeated swings.

Chronic shoulder pain

Many golfers push through shoulder pain for a full season before seeing us. We build a treatment plan around their actual swing habits.

Lower back stiffness

Twisting motions on the course strain the lower back. This happens on almost every swing, from the backswing to the follow through. Golfers who play several rounds a week feel this strain the most. Even a small swing flaw can add stress to the spine over time. We combine adjustments with shockwave for faster relief. This pairing helps loosen tight muscles and calm irritated joints. Many patients notice less pain after just a few sessions.

Post-round knee soreness

Walking 18 holes in Mesa heat adds up. We see this a lot in patients who also visit MY DR NOW for other care.

Pickleball wrist strain

Nearby retirement communities keep pickleball courts busy year round. Wrist strain often follows patients over from Bookmark Medical on June St.

Recurring plantar fasciitis

Walking golf courses in worn-out shoes causes heel pain we see often near the Lehi Community Center crowd. Many golfers walk five or six miles per round without noticing wear on their shoes. Old soles lose their cushion and stop supporting the heel properly. This adds extra stress to tired tendons and ligaments with every step. Players who walk instead of ride tend to feel this pain more. We help these golfers find relief and choose better footwear.

Dr. Rob and Dr. Eric are the best Chiropractors I have ever seen. The staff are great, they are transparent, affordable, offer payment plans, and have supplemental roller benches, tens unit therapy and more. You won’t be disappointed!

I came here using a Groupon for shockwave treatment for my Achilles tendonitis and have found my new place to get my chiropractic done as well. Dr. Robert has been great in helping me formulate a plan to get my body back to where it needs to be and I got my first adjustment today from Dr. Eric. They are very reasonable with their prices and give discounts for prepayment of treatments which is very helpful in this tight economy. I've been telling my managers and co-workers with ailments about this place and to get their butts in there. For myself, so far after two sessions my tendonitis is improving and the adjustment definitely helped today.
