Shockwave Cases We've Treated Near Smiles for Special Needs

Central Mesa has a mix of active teens and longtime residents. That mix keeps us busy with sports injuries, joint pain, and old tendon problems that never healed right.

Youth sports tendon injuries

Students near Kino Junior High School often come in with knee or heel pain from track and soccer. Shockwave therapy speeds up healing so they can get back to practice.

Plantar fasciitis relief

We treat a lot of heel pain in this area. Parents who walk kids to Edison Elementary School every day often get this pain. Shockwave breaks up the scar tissue causing the pain.

Shoulder pain from home repairs

Central Mesa's older homes need more upkeep. Roof work and AC servicing before summer often leads to rotator cuff strain we treat with shockwave and adjustments. Many homeowners try to push through the pain to finish the job. This often makes the shoulder injury worse over time. We also see similar strain from yard work and gutter cleaning. Getting checked early can save weeks of recovery time later.

Chronic tennis elbow

We see this a lot in adults working near the DaVita Central Mesa Dialysis Center area. It often comes from repetitive strain at work or home projects. Many patients spend hours typing or lifting boxes without a break. That kind of repeated motion adds stress to the same muscles every day. Over time, small aches can turn into bigger problems if they go untreated.

Achilles tendon pain

Runners and coaches from schools near Smiles for Special Needs come in with Achilles pain that's dragged on for months. Shockwave gives them a real path forward.

Post-injury scar tissue breakdown

Families near Michael T. Hughes Elementary School bring in kids and adults with old injuries that never fully healed. We use shockwave to break up scar tissue and restart the healing process.

Dr. Rob and Dr. Eric are the best Chiropractors I have ever seen. The staff are great, they are transparent, affordable, offer payment plans, and have supplemental roller benches, tens unit therapy and more. You won’t be disappointed!

I came here using a Groupon for shockwave treatment for my Achilles tendonitis and have found my new place to get my chiropractic done as well. Dr. Robert has been great in helping me formulate a plan to get my body back to where it needs to be and I got my first adjustment today from Dr. Eric. They are very reasonable with their prices and give discounts for prepayment of treatments which is very helpful in this tight economy. I've been telling my managers and co-workers with ailments about this place and to get their butts in there. For myself, so far after two sessions my tendonitis is improving and the adjustment definitely helped today.
